Interested in running for office? The NWPC-STL Training Institute can teach you how.

As part of our effort to increase the number of women in elected positions, The NWPC-STL Training Institute offers training programs designed to help prospective and new candidates for office, campaign staff, and campaign volunteers learn how to run a successful campaign.

We also offer continuing education opportunities for current office holders to help our elected official members stay on top of changes in election and campaign finance law.

Training Institute receives pledge from Founding Mothers

NWPC-STL TRAINING INSTITUTE RECEIVES $5,000 PLEDGE

From left to right: Secretary Lorna Frahm, Treasurer Pamela Meyers, and President Daffney Moore, receive a generous pledge from NWPC-STL’s Founding Mothers, presented by Susan Block.

For fifty years, The National Women’s Political Caucus-St Louis has worked to recruit, train, and elect progressive women to local, state, and federal office.

Given the challenges our region, state, and country face, it is very clear that we need to do more.

In 2021 we founded the NWPC-STL TRAINING INSTITUTE – a training and mentoring program for progressive women interested in becoming active in the political process through an elected or appointed position, or in managing a campaign at the local, state, or federal level.

We will support progressive women regardless of race, age, financial standing, disability, or religion through mentoring and professional development opportunities. Through workshops, seminars, networking events and regular communication, we will help women navigate today’s landscape.

The NWPC-St. Louis Training Institute now has tax – exempt status under IRS 501C(3) regulations. Your contributions are tax deductible under these regulations.

With your continued support, we will continue to provide educational, and training opportunities to support candidates, prospective candidates, campaign staff, and campaign volunteers.
