The National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC) of Metro St. Louis is a non-partisan, multi-issue, grassroots organization dedicated to increasing women’s participation in the political process. In pursuing our mission, members seek to identify, endorse and support women candidates for elected offices in the Missouri General Assembly and St. Louis City and St. Louis County government. The local Caucus may support statewide candidates who have been endorsed by the Missouri State Women's Political Caucus (MOWPC).
Women legislative candidates who complete a questionnaire are invited to our endorsement meeting at 6:30 pm on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at the Webster Groves Public Library. Note that the Caucus cannot endorse multiple candidates in the same race. Endorsed candidates may receive funding from the Eastern Missouri Political Action Committee (EMPAC).
Qualified women candidates for local elections may receive “Friend of the NWPC of Metro St. Louis” status. While financial support is not available to candidates receiving Friends of the NWPC status, they may mentor informally with a NWPC-St Louis member.
