The keynote speaker for this brunch is the Rev. Dr. Cassandra Gould, Executive Director of Missouri Faith Voices. Rev. The Caucus will be giving a Gutsy Woman Award to Becky Morgan, State President of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. Morgan has organized 16 local chapters of this gun safety group to pressure lawmakers across Missouri to address gun violence. More than 1,000 women were at a recent Moms Demand Action meeting, making St. Louis one of the largest chapters in the nation.
The event is in the Centennial Ballroom in the same building as Vin de Set at 2017 Chouteau. Doors will open at 10:30 on Saturday, April 14. There is plenty of free, convenient parking.
